Burbank, CA (February 28, 2007) - Disney Interactive today announced
that Lumines Plus is now shipping for the PS2.
From Disney Interactive:
Lumines Plus includes all the features of the original Lumines game for the
PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) system combined with many features from the
game's recently released PSP system sequel, Lumines II. As a hybrid of both
previous handheld Lumines games, Lumines Plus provides the opportunity for
gamers to enjoy elements of both games on their TV.
"With the immense global fan base for the PlayStation 2, Lumines Plus is the
perfect opportunity for existing Lumines fans and newcomers to experience the
addictive puzzle gameplay on their big screen TVs," said Craig Relyea, vice
president of marketing, Disney Interactive Studios. "With the creativity and
passion of those who play Lumines games, we anticipate many living rooms filled
with grudge matches to determine Lumines Plus supremacy."
Lumines Plus challenges players to match and clear solid-color rectangles by
rotating and arranging falling two-color squares, all set to memorable music.
With 30 skins (themed backgrounds including unique music tracks) and 100
puzzles, the single player experience of Lumines Plus is deep and engaging. A
furious two-player multiplayer mode enables friends to go head-to-head on the
same screen for ultimate bragging rights.
