Gaming News - February 2007
Roswell, GA (February 9, 2007) - Tripwire Interactive today announced
the details on their Winter Cup tournament for Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45.
From Tripwire Interactive:
The competition is open to any teams from all over the world and it will
start running from the weekend of 10th February 2007.
ROLadder have run very successful clan tournaments for the Red Orchestra
community in the past. This time we are opening the doors – and throwing out the
challenge – to all-comers. Apart from the opportunity to prove just how good
your team is, there are also substantial prizes from our sponsors at AMD, ATI
and Logitech:
- Two AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ dual core processors
- Two AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ dual core processors
- Six ATI Radeon x1900 GT graphics cards
- Six Logitech G15 Gaming keyboards and six G5 Gaming mice
We will also be “televising” selected matches live via “Red Orchestra TV” (ROTV
–that allows large numbers of people to watch matches as they happen from
in-game), so that all your friends can watch you play over the web. With a short
anti-cheat delay, of course!
For more details on the contest, take a look at the ROLadder site at
www.roladder.net. They will have the full
contest details and the sign-up procedures. So – if you are an avid RO player
and you have not already signed a team up – go do it! And if you do not yet have
a team – you still have time to round one up!
