Gaming News - February 2006

Los Angeles, CA (February 23, 2006) -  Sierra Entertainment and Mad Doc Software today announced that they have shipped Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy to retail stores this week. Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy is the first expansion pack for Empire Earth II.

From Sierra:

Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy returns gamers to the front lines of the greatest battles in history with new civilizations at their command, new campaigns and a host of new features. Bold victories on far-off battlefields, from wintry Russian plains to scorching African deserts, will establish the player’s undisputable reputation as the world’s greatest leader – past, present and future.

“Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy gives fans of the franchise exactly what they are looking for – more of what they love with new civilizations, modes, regions and challenges,” said Peter Della Penna, Executive Vice President and COO, World Studios for Vivendi Universal Games. “With all of these new additions and improvements -- if you liked Empire Earth II, you’ll love The Art of Supremacy.”

“Empire Earth II had such a great response, that we came to the table knowing we needed to create an expansion worthy of its predecessor,” notes Dr. Ian Davis, CEO of Mad Doc. “We wanted to offer up new civs, new campaigns, new scenarios -- lots of new content to expand the game. Yet when it came down to it, we wanted to add something new to the gameplay experience as well for fans. I like adding in new twists and turns – I love keeping players on their toes, giving it a little push. There’s enough here to make fans of the series very happy.”
