3rd party campaign expansion for IL- Sturmovik Forgotten Battles.
From IncaGold:
Rebirth of Honor is a 3rd party campaign expansion for the award-winning
World War II Flight Simulator IL- Sturmovik `Forgotten Battles. Enter an
alternate history in which one single event in early 1942 sets the world off on
a different timeline. It is a timeline in which the outcome of World War II and
the fate of several nations could differ drastically from our own history.
Rebirth of Honor Storyline
Early in 1942 Hitler's personal train sits idling at a Salzburg Railway Station.
The train is here to replenish its water supply. As the train pulls away from
the station, Hitler begins to prepare a cup of hot tea. He pours in a small
amount of milk. Luckily it is just enough to mask the smell and taste of the
poison that was placed in the fresh water supply. Minutes later, Hitler finds it
hard to breathe and his body is overcome by convulsions so violent that they
snap his neck as he falls to the floor. In the blink of an eye, Operation Foxley
has eliminated the worlds' most violent mass -murderer and given the German
nation and its citizens a new sense of Honor.
In Rebirth of Honor® players battle for supremacy in the historically accurate
years of 1941, 1942 and an alternate-reality 1942 and beyond. The missions that
take place prior to the middle of 1942 are created around real world events,
locations and weather conditions. The missions flown in late 1942, after
Hitler's death, will take place where the future of Germany, its strategy for
fighting the war and its economic situation are all in flux. Will the
elimination of Hitler help Germany avoid all his major mistakes and win the war,
or will the conclusion of Rebirth of Honor be something completely unexpected?
Either way, players will come to understand that what happens in the blink of an
eye can take a lifetime to see.
