Redwood City, CA (February 14, 2003) - EA today announced the
availability of a patch for Sim City 4.
From Ubi Soft:
A SimCity 4 patch is available. The patch includes technical changes
including fixes to a couple of crash errors and a few bugs relating to advisor
messages, freight-train cargo, airport upgrades, and pollution values for
airports and seaports. The patch also adds new functionality to the game's
interface, allowing players to turn off the automatic creation of roads in zones
by holding the shift key when zoning. The other interface tweak includes the
ability to change the orientation of lots by holding down the alt key while
zoning. Fixed compatibility problems with SIS video cards and some 3dfx video
cards. Improved support for Radeon 9000 series video cards. Another enhancement
includes the addition of whales to ocean areas for your Sim whale watchers.
