Gaming News - February 2002San Francisco, CA (February 14, 2002) - Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced that Destroyer Command, its highly anticipated World War II naval combat simulation, has shipped to retail shelves. With an MSRP of $39.99, Destroyer Command delivers a combat experience like no other, fully immersing the player in multiple roles aboard a realistic World War II era destroyer. Additionally, a forthcoming download for the popular Silent Hunter II submarine simulation will enable interaction with Destroyer Command players as well as update the single player game. Silent Hunter II and Destroyer Command players will then be able to interact and battle via the Internet or LAN. "When the Silent Hunter II update containing the game link feature is released in about two weeks, the world will know who the true kings of the ocean are as Silent Hunter II's experienced pack of submariners square off against a fleet of new destroyer commanders," said Carl C.
