and Warriors: Joan of Arc has gone gold.
"We are very excited to announce the gold master for Wars and Warriors: Joan
of Arc," said Trevor Chan, chief executive officer of Enlight. "During the
testing phase we left no stone unturned. We listened to valuable feedback from
the specialized media, beta-testers and our fan base and as a result, the game
has shaped up nicely and elevates the action/RTS genre to the next level. All
our efforts at fine-tuning and polishing have refined the game to a degree that
is sure to please action and strategy gamers alike."
From Enlight:
Inspired by the captivating story of Joan of Arc, Wars and Warriors: Joan of
Arc sends players on an epic adventure through medieval Europe to fight the
greatest battles in the history of the Hundred Years War.
Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc features a unique blend of action and RTS
elements that allows players to engage in intense melee combat with the ability
to switch and control four playable characters on-the-fly. At the same time,
players' tactical skills will be challenged in commanding massive armies.
Featuring traditional RPG elements as well, players will develop their
characters in six attributes, upgrade their weapons, armor and combo attacks.
Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc's new state-of-the-art 3D graphics engine
takes advantage of the features found in DirectX. The medieval French
countryside, along with its forests, valleys, rolling hills and villages, are
all accurately depicted and special effects such as dynamic generation of grass
and varying weather environments will directly affect the gameplay during major
battles.
