Evolution
Players who enter Dark and Light will experiment with a progression system,
based on three axes: the fighting axis, the crafting axis, and the social axis,
which will be mainly quantified according to the involvement of players in the
community’s life and in guilds. The progression in the social axis is essential
in order to own a fort or a holding:

- A greater system of title management, governed by the players’ FXP, CXP and
SXP levels.
- A skill tree that fully restructures itself according to the classes’ latest
archetype
- 62 expert skills, such as:
* mastering for every kind of weapon
* increased accuracy with the left or right hand
* increased accuracy from a distance
* critical hit
* invisibility detection
* trap detection
- A ranking system within guilds and the attributes given to the leader make the
management and involvement in a guild a real strategy for every player.
- All races, including fairies, will be playable in Dark and Light.
- 500 quests will be available when Dark and Light opens, and the number will
grow with regular patches.
Mobs
- 240 creatures with unique stats
- All statistics have been totally revised
- A better management of magic: distant and melee attack strategies, healing and
support
- Management of Saves has been revised
- Management of moves has been revised
Factions
A high faction has an in game impact:
- The mobs’ aggressiveness is focused on the opposed faction
- Some quests will be only available for specific factions
- The player can benefit from divine protection
- The faction is displayed, as well as the points won or lost in each fight
- Donations will be possible to be made in temples, to make your faction
increase.
- A permanent immersion in the unique Ganareth world
- The interface and the menus’ design have been revised in order to make them
more user-friendly and ergonomic for players.
- Integration of new motion captures for fights
- Integration of sounds and music which vary depending on the location, the type
of transportation, and fights, among others.
Servers
A new room has been prepared to host the 80 computers equipped with 3,4Ghz Intel
Xeon biprocessors, with up to 8 Gb of RAM. Half of them are dedicated to the
management of cells, one third for bases, and the rest for the breakouts
tolerance and admin servers. Everything is organized in order to double or
triple the number of servers in the future, depending of the needs.
