another thing that affects the price of a painting is the mood your sim was in when they started painting it (sketch > small blob of colour) . what i used to do was maximise my sims needs and start off about 4 paintings so they are at the stage where the have a bit of colour on them then come back and finish them off later.

If u order pizza, don't accept it. The pizza guy will finally leave the pizza on the porch and u don't even have to pay for it!! Also the pizza will never get stale!! And you can just keep piling pizzas on the porch; so when one of your sims gets hungry just tell them to get a piece of pizza from the porch.
