Make your way to the Abby. Don't sweat the ghosts, they're nothing. When you
get there, and the guildmaster drops the barrier, head inside. After the cut-
scene, you're in for a battle (in the interest of keeping the spoilers down, I
won't say who the battle is with). You'll fight him all throughout the town. If
he goes into the lighthouse, you'll have to smash down the door to get at him.
Anyway, after a while, you will defeat him (I found a combination of Slow Time,
Enflame, and flourish strikes worked pretty well). Watch the ensuing cut-scene.
Completion of this quest gives you Maze's Clasp as a trophy.
Since you've most likely already broken down the door of the lighthouse, go
inside and grab all the loot. You will find a silver key and 500 gold on the
shelves. Go upstairs to find a silver key chest (needs 15) that holds a
legendary weapon (Murren Greataxe).
Now, you should probably reset the town before going on, so that all the people
will come back and open the doors for you. Teleport to somewhere (Bowerstone
South or wherever), and then back to Hook Coast. This brings back all the
villagers.
The house near the lighthouse is your marital house (you can go ahead and buy
it if you like, it'll cost you 29,000 gold. Ouch. Improving it costs 7,000
gold, 9,000 gold, and 11,000 gold).
The next home has a sharpening augmentation upstairs. The next structure is a
general shop, and upstairs you will find a will potion. The next shop
(blacksmith) has 500 gold in a cabinet in the back.
Go into the tavern and look upstairs to find a health potion, two books (The
Sock Method and The Dragons), and a Plaits style card. Downstairs, you ought to
talk to the gamesmaster. With a bit of practice, it's not very hard to put the
four coins into the 10 spot pretty much every time. With a high enough score (I
think it's over 30) you can pick up a Maze Hero doll.
Head outside and up the stairs, but before you reach the Abby, take a right
onto the upper tier of the town. In the first house on this level, you will
find two tattoo cards (Coron Birth, Arrowhead), a tramp beard card, and 500
gold.
In the final house, you enter on the second floor (you can pick up a health
potion and the Eyes of Avo tattoo style card here). Go downstairs to find a
Vambrace tattoo card, a will potion, tofu, and plate gauntlets. There's nothing
to be found on the upper level.
If you head up to the upper tier of town and go east to where the bell is,
you'll encounter your fifth (and last) assassin attacker. Take him out to
finally finish this quest. The reward for this is another treasure clue, which
should, in fact, be your final clue.
Teleport over to Bowerstone South. Whatever you do, don't go back to the guild
yet, unless you're ready for a long quest that will take you across half the
world. We'll get there shortly, but for now, since we've gone through all the
trouble, let's pick up the buried treasure.
Orchard Farms
-------------
If you want to try to figure out the clues for yourself, don't read this
paragraph, and good luck, because they're really obscure! The first two clues
point you to Orchard Farms clearly enough. By the clues, I believe you are
meant to start in the orchard and follow the lamps until you reach the house.
If you then examine the final light post, it points to the east. Follow that to
the sign for Greatwood Lake. That points you at the barn. The final clue tells
you to look for a place between the bales of hay and the barn itself. Dig there
(your shovel icon will not appear) to pick up a frying pan. Not a great weapon,
but it does have a four open augmentation slots on it.
Now, check your current quests. You should have only the following quests on
your list. Collect the Hero Dolls, Fishing Competition, Chapel of Skorm,
Chicken Kicking Competition, Temple of Light, and Archery Competition. The
first one you can't complete yet, and all the others you have already completed
(but they are perma-quests and will never leave your book). If you have any
other quests to do, finish them now before moving on.
Heroes' Guild

When you are ready, return to the Guild. This will bring up your next gold
quest.
