Overall the graphics are not all that bad and are certainly serviceable.
Don’t expect anything on par with most other PC games, though. Most of your
computer’s processing power is dedicated to number-crunching, though, as the
game has surprisingly high system requirements and can run sluggishly on
mid-range systems. The game also suffers from frequent and lengthy load times,
which makes the game feel even more sluggish over all.
The game’s campaign mode and individual scenarios provide a good variety of
mission types. There are escorts and intercepts, and one-on-one tank duels and
large-scale engagements. The AI of your enemy and allies is quite good, and
you’ll find yourself challenged throughout the game. The game does provide
multiplayer support, but it only comes in the form of LAN games. Internet
support would have gone a long way in extending the life of this title, but on
the other hand how many other tank sims are you waiting to play right now?
If you’re a fan of military sims, then T72 is definitely worth a look. Just
don’t expect to be immersed in the experience. However, if you’re expecting a
Battlefield-style experience, T72 is definitely not for you.
In The End, This Game Hath Been Rated:
76%. A solid armor simulation that falls short in bringing its tanks
to life.
System Requirements: Pentium III 1.0 GHz; 256 MB RAM;
