GT: Will all of the fighting in the game be between players or will there
be NPC foes to contend with as well?
Scorch: There is a storyline the player can explore that is completely player
versus environment (AI). Our design team is developing a very intense world that
the player will learn about through playing missions. Missions can not only give
experience, credits and items but can also unlock additional content to the
player.

GT: Will there be support for factions, guilds, or grouping in the
game? Or will each player be a lone road warrior?
Scorch: Auto Assault includes all three. All players are part of one of
the three races or factions. Players can also form clans which are similar to
guilds in other games. Short term groups in Auto Assault are called convoys
which you can form to complete missions together or as a way to play with other
players on an instanced map.
GT: Will the game provide missions for players to complete?
Scorch: We are putting a lot of work into our missions and mission
system. The variety of mission types includes objectives to destroy, deliver,
collect, patrol or escort, as well as some very unique mission types like racing
or jumping.
GT: What types of vehicles will be available for players and how much room
is there for customization?
Scorch: The variety of vehicle chassis available features sports cars,
vans, SUVs, busses, semis, motorcycles, dune buggies, pickups, and tanks to name
just a few. For visual customization players can choose different trims (paint
jobs) and tricks (wings, fins, bones, and other accessories) to create a unique
look for their vehicles. Players can also select various armor, weapons, and
other equipment to specialize the vehicle’s statistics to best fit their goals.
