Once you finish the maps, there is not too much of an incentive to go back
and try again. Enemy locations and events are scripted, so once you know
what's coming and when, the game becomes a lot easier. The fast gameplay
has an addictive quality at first, but can become repetitive after a while and
you may not even be motivated to replay any of the levels. This is where
the game's lack of depth works against it.
The game's graphics are 3D, but the look is almost cartoon-like.
Cutscenes play out like an animated comic book, and the game's maps and features
are brightly colored. The game's camera is easy to use, and supports
scrolling, rotation, and zooming. While the zoom feature is very smooth,
the camera does not pull back far enough to give you as much of a view of the
area as you'd like and there's not a lot of detail when the camera is fully
zoomed in. You'll probably just leave the camera zoomed out as far as
possible and not mess with it after that.
In The End, This Game Hath Been Rated:
74%. An action-focused, arcade-like strategy game that can provide
some frantic gaming fun. However, a lack of depth makes it wear thin after
a bit and hurts its long-term appeal.
