"I have found that the best faction in the game is the Danish. Hints for playing with the Danish.
1) Conquer or buy norway and sweden as quick as possible and then build a fleet. With this fleet take scotland and ireland (if there not controled by the English)
2) Wait for the Byzentines to take Russia (Novograd, Muscovy, ect..) I found them much easier to kill then the rebels as they do not expect an attack from across the Baltic.
3) The best way of making money is threw farms, build as many as possible unless the farm generates no income. Try to tkae places with good farms as this greatly improves your treausery.
4) Pick on weakest opponents and alliance to the strongest. As the Danes it is good to be allianced with as many ppeople most importantly, English, byzentines, Germans, and the russians (people of novograd) 5)Try not to be excumunticated until your strong enough to resist attacks " - King of the Danes

"when playing as english in the late period i find this the best army to use against ny faction.first use cheats badgerbunny and deadringer then train 6 halberdiers 6 alebasters or any other archers(gunmenn only shoot one row at a time).2 heavy cavalry and two other mounted units.have fun." - braveheart

"When playing as the british take over scotland early in the game then stock up on highlanders, once you have like a gegilion of them atack your enemy, during battle group all of them together and charge it works like every time, the enemy gets scared and runs the have no chance of routing and the best part is it takes no strategy whatsover its awsome, also beware of archers of to the sidelines, they kill you and its not that fun when tthey do that :( this tactic only works in the begining of the game in the later game era armored men with good deffence take all the fun out of using highland clansmen i hope this helps its the only good advise i know!" - Sir Kill Alot
