(cunstruct faster) then buy a gold mine. After you do that in 1 year, buy lots of Knights because with a armour upgrade with a knight combin together the strongest army yet. this will be easier to wipe out %60 of the provinces.

"1.Try to give your lands to your men with the most acumen. This will boost your income considerably.
2. Try to specialize your lands by training the most upgraded spearmen in one country and the most upgraded bowmen in another.
3. At the beginning of a game raise taxes to high and do this eventually with conquered states but keep a close eye on them, you don't want unrest in weak defended parts of your territory's.

"Before you do anything else at the beginning of the game, on top right, near the map, there's a scroll menu(looked like an arrow) which enable you control tax automatically, tidy up units automatically, and etc... I found it to be a really big help cuz I don't have to check up on my tax anymore and chance of rebellion are greatly reduce.
I played as English and the combination of Longbowmen, Billmen, Royal Knights, and Chivalric men-at-arms(Assuming you already beat France) are unbeatable.
It is also crucial to control the trade routes cuz it gives you more money and transfer your unit faster to other places
