"There's lots of tips out there for how to keep people happy, etc. This tip is specifically for the end of the strategic game, when you're trying to eliminate all factions and "win."

First, when you are eliminating a faction, fight the battles real-time and take no prisoners. This seems to prevent rebels from coming back as knights -- they tend to come back as peasant which are easy to defeat.

Second, there is some algorithm in the AI which causes mass rebellions just as you are about to eliminate the last faction. The solution to this is to build combined-arms "regional armies" to handle this problem. Then, lower taxes across the board and then go for it. It will take several turns to handle the rebellions and factions that come back, but having the regional armies and lowering tactics keeps this manageable." - Yeti

"when putting in the cheats, if you put all of them on at once, it will kick you out of the game and all unsaved progress will be lost." - huffnpuff

"When using the "badgerbunny" cheat, its best to start off all your provinces with "swiss armored pikemen". This way your faction has a stronger army early on in the game." - synthetic head

"To make everyone happy rise the taxes but put at least 2 full armies in each province" - Steveo

"I suggest using the shift button at the start and ending of each turn...this will show you which provinces/regions most and least in support of you. This will prove invaluable in setting taxes across the board and will avoid you many rebellions." - Michael Viegas
