"One of the hardest parts about advancing in this game is earning money,
or, adena. Skills and magic demand higher quality equipment, weapons, and armor.
But in order to get these things, you have to know how to make a living. Hints:
become an avid hunter. For one, when you kill a monster, they will almost always
drop a pile of adena, varying in size depending on what you're hunting. More
difficult creatures will drop more adena. Also, monsters will sometimes drop
certain items. Sell these items to the shop, or to a player for a slightly
higher price. Next, know your prices on the market for items, weapons, and
armor. If you see something thats selling for a ridiculously low price, BUY IT.
You can sell it for a higher amount and collect profit. As you do this more and
more, you will be able to start buying more and more expensive items, gaining
more and more profit. This is what being a merchant is all about. Even if you
are a knight, you can take up merchantry on the side. The benefit is of a large
scale." - Utau
