"Here are a few tips for when you are building a Vacation lot from scratch:

Create a Honeymoon suite, complete with hot tub, balcony, Lovebed, fireplace & polar-bear rug and a loveseat.

Create a large room to accomodate your larger families. Furnish with beds, dressers, toys and other recreational objects.

Ensure that there is enough room for Sims to move around. If you get to Vacation Island only to discover that the corridors are too small, you'll have to cancel your vacation just to amend it!!

If you own Unleashed, make sure there are plenty of dog bowls and beds for your pets.

Other necessaties in a hotel are a dining area with bar, a gift shop, spa (if you own Superstar) and an entertainment/games room." - Anon
