"Yippie-ki-yay, mother[censored]..." Gamers will get the
chance to utter this famous movie line themselves as they take on the role of
John McClane. Highly armed and trained thieves have taken over Nakatomi
Plaza in order to steal a fortune in bearer bonds. They've meticulously
planned their assault, but didn't count on McClane. Just off the plane for
his wife's Christmas party, he's jetlagged and very far from his jurisdiction,
but he's not about to let the crooks walk away with the loot.
In Die Hard:
Nakatomi Plaza, a new first-person shooter coming from Sierra, players will
follow the storyline of the movie over 30 levels covering 40 floors of the
Nakatomi Plaza building. The game will also feature some all new levels
not seen in the movie. Players who enjoyed the movie will recognize many
of the characters from the film, including the terrorist criminals, their
hostages, and the LAPD's Officer Powell. In fact, Reginald Johnson, who
played Powell in the film, will lend his voice talents to the game.
You'll
have access to a full arsenal of weapons including an M-60, Heckler & Koch
HKP7M13, and a Beretta 92F. A realistic inventory system will ensure that
these weapons and other gadgets will always be at your disposal.
