"World of war craft is a very fun game. even if you took away its vivid
landscapes and Pleasuring sound effects, you'd still have a cool game. You start
out customizing you characters features, choosing his/her race, and selecting
one of the classes. you are then launched into the vivid world.its really easy
to level you character, work on your trade skills, and socialize. this is really
the game of the year. I recommend that you buy it" - MC
"Um I dont think the writer of this game review really spent much time on
this game before playing it or they are just completely addicted to it.
Good points of the game:
*Graphics
*Choice of character design, race, class and skill sets
*3 Major cities to communicate and find groups with others
Bad points:
*EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE AND TIME CONSUMING
*Sometimes takes over an hour to get a group of 5 together, and sometimes you
can't get a group together at all unless your part of a guild of snobby nerds
who wont let anybody outside of their guild quest with them.
*Many of the quests require groups when your a higher level - specifically
dungeons which is probably the only way your going to level up without taking
months to get to 60.
*Your character will be completed hopeless to play in pvp (player versus player)
if you dont constantly upgrade weapons and armor by either: running dungeons for
their good item drops or buying them on the auction house from people who ran
those dungeons. If you buy from the auction house you better buy some fake gold
for real money because there is no way you could ever be able to afford those
items with the money that usual critters drop. (560 gold for a superior (blue)
chest piece at level 50?)
*Travelling takes way way to long unless your a mage and you can port to your
major cities, or you have a warlock in the party that can summon you around, but
even then he or she has to get there first anyways. A flight on an animal can
take up to 20 minutes depending on your destinations and at least 4 minutes.
Boats leave once every 5 minutes, but they sit at the dock for 1 minute before
departing so if u miss it you wait 6 minutes plus the boat ride to get where you
want to go (then you probably have to catch a flight path once you get there to
get somewhere else so plus another 5 minutes)
*This game takes way to long to play!!!! I think i mentioned this earlier but
really I cannot emphasis this enough. You cant jump on for a half hour and get
back off again. It doesnt give you enough time to travel around and gather quest
items and get back to your original destination which TRUST ME is sometimes on a
completely different continent. (see above about travelling then)
* "Gold Farmers" - people who kill and skin or mine or herb gather every primary
trade, run dugeons and "ninja" (take without needing or asking from the other
group members) good item drops and sell it on the Auction House for insane
amounts of money so they can sell the gold for real money in real life.
*$15 a month PER ACCOUNT. So not only do you have to buy a $50 game for yourself
and everyother family member (we have three people play at our house so thats
$150 dollars), then you pay per account $15 a month no price breaks if you have
all your accounts on the one credit card. $45 a month for my family on top of
the original $150.
*Selling an expansion pack to an "ever expanding" MMORPG?!!! This was the last
straw for me. I signed up to $15 a month per account thinking we wouldnt have to
buy any more games because this game was supposed to include new patches, new
quests, new items and new dungeons to explore with every patch. Then they have
the nerve to make an expansion pack and sell it. Whats worse is if you dont buy
the expansion pack you cant level to 70 (the new level cap) so you will be stuck
at 60 even though you pay just like everyone else a monthly subscription.
Im sorry blizzard your profiteering and greediness has gone overboard with me
now I am not going to buy your expansion pack and continue to pay $45 a month
any more for this game. Thats probably another $150 for each expansion pack and
$45 a month equals either a new game to play every month or more dining out at
restaurants instead of wasting my time in a fake reality.
A review from a person who played World of Warcraft for 6 months and so happy to
be released from its addicting, money and time sucking grip!" -
