"This game may look bad, but it plays worse. It takes hours and
hours to figure out and once you do you realize how crummy the game really
is." - Rox
"Battlecruiser Millennium is a great game, wait, was I playing the same
thing? It is indeed a great game, in need of some incredible work. The man who
made it was indeed ambitious, but he forgot the golden rule of gaming,
excitement. The largest factor of excitement comes with destroying something
without life-support going offline. So what I mean to say is, the game has
massive potential, and that needs to be worked with. It has major problems to
ANYONE who hasn't played the previous title, there are alot of things they never
mention or think about because they rely on the fact you have played before. I
thought the training would fix that, but as stated before, it isnt a training
level but merely a quick way to run around and try out the controls. Even the
manual(which I read the entire thing) is missing pieces and is not to helpful to
anyone learning how to play, things like launching millitary ground assaults,
deploying mining drones through the TacOps, these need to be in the booklet, not
the meaning of HUD. They ARE making major revisions to the game, fixing the
sound FX, and adding large pieces of intrest. Anyone who played Battlecruiser
3000AD knows that the title, will indeed, go through major revisions and
additions. I just have trouble waiting for the final version, I would recommend
buying it four years from now, the platinum edition(you know that is what it
will be called...) because then it will have all the fixes done.
Despite all this, I do rate the title highly, but you have to remember, it
will not be everyone's bag of cookies." - Inigma
