"when it is a first date u:
1. take things slow. Talk. then hug, friendly, next intimate. then kiss polite
passsonite then romantic. romantic always does the trick. 2. go to the western
place. there they have a dude who plays the guitar and violin. u can cuddle on
the booth, kiss, romantic kiss or even make out!(just don't try make out on the
first date.) 3. make sure your extra person's little diamond is always blue. the
more blue. the better mood." - pint-sized

"If you are having problems getting promoted in your job (because you find
it hard to make friends) JUST befriend ONE townie. After a while the option to
propose or let them move in will come up. Once you have a townie wife or hubbie
you will instantly gain all their friends (which is like ALL the townies). Their
relationship with their fellow townies is only 65, but it will never decrease
(it can increse though..if you want). After that you only have to worry about
your skill bars and if you already have that you will get promoted until your at
te top of your field." - hi
"I have noticed two glitches:
In Hot Date, when you have a meal with your date, often they will stay at the
table when you have finished your meal. If this happens, you will not be able to
talk to the Sim, or interact with them at all.
When you are in the Old Town, watch out for the saxaphone player if you are in a
room with only one door. He will stand in the doorway and play music, and you
will not be able to leave the room. There are two ways to deal with him:
1: In Build mode, add extra doors so that every room has two exits.
2: If you wait long enough, he will eventually go away, but it is not always
worth it, as your Sim will be in a ridiculously bad mood by that time." - pap
