"When playing build structures important to your economy, not only military
structures. These economic improvements can help gain precious resources needed
to build your military. When near another player, that's when you build your
military. This way you can do a strait-forward attack. Then the enemy will be
easily vanquished. More updates will be posted a another time." - Egyptian knight
"Sometimes deciding what to build in the first set of turns enables whether you are able to purchase the things you need later on. Each turn try to work towards a Capital and then other structures that improve resource income.
I usually have around 2-4 heroes at one time depending on the size of the map and opponents. Always try and have a decent force for every hero.
Any battle can be manipulated if you know what your doing. An example is a comp hero attacked my fortress, and all i had was some minor creatures and some of those bulls. Keep all units inside the walls depending on how many melee creatures they have, and use spells and wait it out for arrow towers to help out.
Phew. I've got more to say but ill let you chew on that for a while.

"In the beginning of the game, dont attack ranged weapon foes. Find out what
resources you town relies on and make sure you start early production of those.
Usually it helps to aquire alot of money from treasure chests early in the
game. You will get levels later. But will need to buy troops early on.
locate the creature generators outside of yout town and stash a low-level
heroe to farm them and bring the troops back to town every week!!! This is huge.
Also, have low level heroes farm the windmills and leprechan 'stashes'.
If using Swamptowns, get Wyverns early in the game. You can stomp all the low
level creaturs gaurding resources.
Get the Fly spell and Walk on Water spell ASAP
Dont waste your money on Ballistas or First Aid Tents.
Spread exp. over all a few heroes. Dont just have one basher, 'cause he cant
cover a large or medium map." - Adam Bomb
