"Max Payne is by far THE BEST Action/shooter I have played for the PC in a LONG time. The graphics are incredible and run super smooth on my system.

What really makes this game unique and very cool is the fact that you can enter Bullet time, which makes the game like something out of The Matrix movie.

The levels are well thought up and it's trippy when Max is doped up on that Valkyr drug and you are trying to maneuver him through mazes and corridors not knowing what is behind the next corner.

I'm VERY impressed with Max Payne, and will gladly recommend it to anyone who is in need of a good computer game or a good shooter.

Once again, I state that this is the BEST shooter I have played in a long time and that 3D Realms should be very proud of themselves for making such a unique, and quite possibly, brilliant game." - Hoodstah
