This expansion pack focuses on the social side of The Sims, giving you plenty of new objects and themes to help you host some great Sim parties.  First, there are three new architecture sets available to set the right decor for your party - rave, cowboy, and luau.  

There are also over 100 new objects to help make your party a success - dance cages, mechanical bulls, party games, dance floors, DJ booths, and more.  There's even a costume trunk which will allow your Sims to dress for the party, be it cowboy duds or a toga!

Running parties can be hard work, so House Party helps you out by adding a caterer to keep your guests fed and dancers to keep them entertained.

What's a party without music?  House Party takes care of this too by including new music styles and dance moves for your Sims to strut their stuff on the dance floor.

Finally, House Party adds some not so subtle indicators of your party's quality.  If your party is a dud, a mime will show up to really drag things down.  Throw a memorable party, and a celebrity might just come by to check out the scene...
