"There's an obvious similarity to Sid Meier's Gettysburg in numerous ways. Anyone who enjoyed his Civil War games will enjoy this one. It is a bit alarming when you have to tweak the direction of a unit in order to get it to go exactly where you want - on several occasions I note that simply setting the leader's direction did nothing to help set the facing of his units. Excellent graphics, although the only way to really fight is to zoom out to the point where those gorgeous uniforms are not so apparent (which is sad). Interface and mechanics are good, and the sound effects and voices are wonderful. I do admit looking forward to a new version or series of this system, for other Napoleonic battles, but somehow I get the feeling this might be the only one." - Uncle Gator
