The newly added quests are quite challenging - perhaps too much so for the casual or new gamer.  If you are new to Majesty, you'll need to work your way up to playing the new quests in the Northern Expansion.  Veteran players will probably welcome the extra challenge, though. 

The new multiplayer features provide a good deal of flexibility in creating game's to the player's liking.  If you enjoy playing Majesty online, you'll probably appreciate the new tools.

The Northern Expansion is an enhancement/add-on and does not significantly change the play of the game - Majesty fans do not need to worry that their carefully developed strategies will no longer be effective.  However, the additional quests and new features are sure to please fans of the original game.

A word of warning, though, when The Northern Expansion was installed on our test computer, all of the previously completed quests from the original game had been reset.  Keep this in mind if you are a quest or two away from completing the original game.

In The End, This Game Hath Been Rated: 88%.  Some players may find the new quests a little hard, but serious Majesty fans will enjoy the new quests and game features.
