"Play the Byzantines, turn all tech on. Get A lot of resources in the first age, and when you advance research as many milatary improvements as possible. But only for the soilders you're using, but use and upgrade them all for an easy victory. Play like this whenever you play. " - Jet Monkey

"If you like foot soliders but u stink, be the goths. Once your at castle age, do your specialty and make huskarals avalible at the barracks. then you build like 10 rows of barracks wid 5-10 in each if you hav space near the enemy's fort. then clik on huskarals to 15 on each barrack. they should be done at the same time. Once they are all done, you hav a unstoppable army! but i suggest you go in little groups cuz if you go as 1 huge army, all of ur ppl wont be able to go. Plus, the siege ongars might sweep across ur army and destroy em all. so go in little groups attacking from every side. but i suggest u take out the villys and town center wid some groups and take our the aggressive forces wid most of the other groups. if done right, u hav an indestructible army!" - Robin Hood

"mongols rock. the mongolian h. scorp is a nice little trinket to any mongolian army. a mongolian h.scorp is as fast as a champ and 40 of them can take any army thats not spread out (even 40 elephants). also a fully garrisoned mongolian siege ram is about as fast as an eagle warrior this is suprising because the ram is the slowest unit in the game. 40 h. scorps with 40 mangudai 20 siege ram is the goal to set for your self. mangudai take out siege, rams for buildings, and scorps for everything else :-p. what a nice little combo, who can beat it?

saracens also are very good :). their markets are awesome for those quik fuedelers. using the market trade u can quikly make it to castle and start pumping out those mamelukes. the mameluke can take out any unit in the game one on one (xcept the war elephant and the teutonic knight), is tied with the mangudai and the scout cavalry as being the fastest unit in the game, has a ranged melee attack and gets +50 hit points with zeoletry and bloodlines.

the saracen heavy camel is also a very nice little noodle to add to the pasta. having now 170 hp and rocks the lasagna out of any army.

the question is now? is the saracen h. camel better the elite mameluke? since the elite mameluke has only 130 hp wen fully upgraded where the h. camel has 170. the elite mameluke has 14 attack fully upgraded, the h. camel 11 attack fully upgraded. the elite mameluke has a starting one armor w/o being upgraded. also the elite mameluke has a ranged melee attack which is rare. it all depends on what ur tastes are. I personally like the range of the mameluke but you may want something that lasts longer on the battle but doesn't deal out as much damage. " - een

"It doesn't matter what civ you are. You just need to know how to use each one and what your enemy will most likely make to attack you." - a player of the game
