"The tips here are very useful. However, it is always important to keep your
mechs moving when confronting an enemy, using a 'circling' tactic if the enemies
are not numerous. Keep running your mechs around the target so he can't get a
bead on your guys. Targeting him will ultimately lead to his destruction.
Another tip is to choose the order of your objectives - you don't have to do
them in numeric order. Keep looking for RP and repair your mechs as often as you
can. If a pilot gets killed but you complete the mission just replay it until
nobody gets killed and you will advance your pilots more quickly." - Patrick
"mech choices. zeus, this mech along with the madcat can take alot of heat so
always make sure you have a good supply of each.
my loadouts are always full of c-lrms and er-ppcs. also il take the
biggest, mechs possible (excluding the atlas, (terrible heat capacity) and one
fastlight mech with extra armour ideally mein shein or sha yu.
send the scout ahead f the main force, if the enemy is static then pound them
with your big mechs and the scout retreats, if they follow youto get into your
weapons range keep backing off. if you have 2/3 zeus they are going to wipeout
any pursuers in a few shots.
tip for mechcommander the original
when an ememy mech is knocked to the ground tell all your mechs to save their
ammo and only use beam weapons, once the mech isback on its feat fire all
wepaons again and the mech will probably be knock over again for the multiple
impact." - m4rk
