"In capitol ship vs. capitol ship skirmishes, always have your capitol ships on aggressive since they wont be dodging anything in a million years. This way you will do more damage and your fire rate would increase.

A carrier with two support frigates with a full wing of attack bombers makes an excellent resource raiding operation. The bombers in aggressive and sphere formation will lay waste to the resource gatherers. Then the carrier could be in the thick of the little skirmish with its rapid fire rail guns it would lay waste to enemy strike craft. then the two support frigates could be healing the carrier and refueling the bombers. Also if resistance gets to high the carrier could be making replacements.

Always research capitol ships first. Fighters cant destroy a mothership but capitol ships can. Also scouts are good for a while and on aggressive have just about the same stats as an interceptor.

Keep fighter wings manageable. That means no more then 20. If numbers are more then that maneuverability is decreased and the chances of hitting each other in increased. Also more fighter could be taken out at once.

Heavy cruisers pack a heavy punch. Put them in the thick of battle and on aggressive. Then have 2 support frigates with it at all times. The support frigates would heal the damage and repair and refuel fighter escorts.

Frigates wont come out of a carrier unless it stops moving! So when you are about to attack, stop your carrier and all these frigates will pop out! Imagine...you enemy sends an attack force at your carrier thinking its going to be an easy kill. Imagine their face when 20 frigates start popping out!lol Its all about the surprise" - SStheKing
