"This is a good game. I had two gripes with it though. First, I didn't like the mandatory retirement date. I like to play with huge maps, have all amenities built at my bases, and conquer the planet. There just wasn't enough time to do all that. My second gripe was that the factions are almost always totally idiotic. They almost never surrender even when they are being utterly destroyed. They always ask for something from me even though I am obliterating them. They should give up more easily. They almost always seem to fight to near annihilation." - dariaco

"A very good game. The great thing is that you can edit the game-rules. I also played Civ 2 were you could edit the game even more (fx. the looks of units, cities and terrain and change the games-rules). All in all a great game." - Andreas
