the feudal age, make castle walls. If you don't your enemy will attack you will
many armed raids then send a large army after you. If you are facing the
computer and you followed my tips, the enemy will have a black spot in thier
map. They won't know how strong your army is or where it is so they won't
attack.

the only boring part of this game is exploring so i always do it this way.

"For a handy surprise attack while in the Black Forest use your
trebuchet's to attack the trees and make a back trail to your opponents town.
Your opponent wont be expecting you to enter their town from the back and will

"Transports are a great way to carry out your attacks! Once you have finished
ur FULL attack force (recommended: 1 team of fully upgraded horse archers, 1
team of upgraded paladin/cavaliers, 15-20 trebs and about 10 abttering rams)
make some transports (if ur playin on a map with lots of water). Then take ur
archer team near enemy and attack minor non guarded buildings (lumber camp etc.)
Then load all your seige in the transports. The enemy will get distracted
andsend all or most their units to counter the archers. When that happens unload
ur seige and start attackin castles and towers." - Blade
"If u ask me, i personaly dislike byzantines. If u r playin multiplayer on
the zone u will see that the most popular unit is either franks or the brits. I
usually use the brits over the byzans cause they r pretty easy to defeat. Just
build 1 army of pikes and 3 armies of longbowmen, send they pikes in to distract
the byzans wile the longbowmen kill them from a distance. I've done it before
playin an intern game so i'm pretty sure it works." - xpowerx0
