Disneys DVD release of The Wizards of Waverly Place, Supernaturally Stylin
contains four episodes of the magically-driven series. The adventures Alex Russo
and her brothers Justin and Max get into range from taking over the fashion
world to teaching the schools she-bully a lesson she will never forget.
Having never seen the series before, I was surprised at how quickly my young
child was taken with the stories, proving once again that magic holds a
universal and timeless appeal. I also liked that each episode stood as its own
story (again, a bonus after having never seen an episode of the series), and
within the first five minutes of the first show the premise was easily
understood and the characters already familiar.
I was surprisingly pleased with this DVD and would recommend it, with the
only caution being it may lead you to want to buy more episodes of the series.
This DVD contains a bonus feature called Backstage Disney - Fashionista
Presto Chango! Which takes you behind the scenes with the stars for some
wardrobe magic.
