Space Holiday is a puzzle game with a simple enough concept - connect the dots.  The dots in this case are stars and you must connect them to form a polygon without crossing any lines.  Succeed and the shape forms a star gate, allowing your happy little astronaut to warp to the next level.  As with most puzzle games, things don't stay that simple for very long.  As you make your way through the game's eighty levels you'll need to contend with things like moving stars and angry asteroids that must be kept outside of your star gate.  Other elements include ninja stars that can destroy asteroids while connecting to another star and plunger stars that can move other stars to better positions.

Space Holiday has some mildly challenging puzzles, but it doesn't quite present the same level of difficulty you'll find in puzzlers like Where's My Water? or Cut the Rope.  Whether or not that's a good thing is probably something that you'll need to decide for yourself.  I found the game to have a certain charm to it, and to be one of those games that's perfect for killing a bit of time while you're stuck waiting in line somewhere.  Space Holiday is certainly appealing and enjoyable enough to recommend to the casual puzzle game fan.  I know that I'll keep "space" for it on my iPhone for awhile after this review is published, which is about as good an endorsement as I can give to an iOS game.
