In Short
A simple but relatively challenging game for those who like to monkey around with platformers.

Tango Chase is a platform game in which falling is actually the goal, albeit in a controlled manner.' Tango is a little monkey whose ultimate goal is to save his girlfriend from a masked villain but whose immediate goal always seems to be to make it to the bottom of the game's vertically scrolling levels alive.' At the beginning of each level the screen immediately begins to scroll downward and you'll need to make sure that you stay on the screen.' Descend too quickly and make it off of the bottom and you'll immediately fail the level.' Let the top of the screen catch you and you'll lose a chunk of the points that you've earned for the level so far.

You can maneuver Tango along platforms by tilting the phone left and right, and when he reaches the end he'll drop down.' If there's a platform below, he'll automatically grab on to it, but if not he'll fall off the bottom of the screen.' You can also make Tango drop down immediately with a swipe of your finger down the screen.' The goal is to reach the bottom safely, but to get full credit for the level you'll need to pick up the three bananas that appear in every level.' Other bonus items include gems which can boost your score and coins which can be used to purchase power-ups or to turn off the in-game advertisements.

At first the game is a relatively simple, but things ramp up quickly from there.' Multiple paths and breakable platforms soon begin to appear in the levels, as well as traps and dangers such as spikes and electric arcs.' Stick with the game and you'll find plenty of challenge here.

Tango Chase is a simple game that provides a decent diversion when you need to kill a couple of minutes.' It's not the kind of game that you'll find so engrossing that you'll try to play through the whole thing in a sitting or two, and once you've played through the levels they're not so compelling that you'll want to return to them over and again in an attempt to improve your score.' The game's available for free, so if you like simple platform games it's worth your time to download it and give it a try.' If you find yourself liking it, it won't take you too long to earn the coins that you need to eliminate the in-game ads.
