A camera is REQUIRED if you want to enjoy this app. It's less a gaming app and more of a way to laugh at photos you take. Out of the box this app only comes with a handful of levels that are at best slightly amusing and challenging from a gaming standpoint. Without a camera or by refusing to upload your own you will find this app to be a huge failure of a game. But if you take a photo of something, preferably with crisp edges and with your flash on, then you may have a little more to enjoy.
The gaming part of this app is kind of fun. You can steer your little dude around and you have a helicopter-like flying mechanism so you can fly around for a good period of time. You collect coins, power-ups, health, and you can either avoid or crash the enemies into each other. That's all fine and good, but again, after the handful of pre-loaded levels you will have nothing else to do.
That is unless you go to the level editor and upload your own photos. Again, you want crisp, defined edges in your pics and the software will do a pretty faithful job of recognizing those places where it can place a line for you to jump on while playing. Doing so will let you play the game against the background of your choosing, which can be very hilarious depending on how creative you are. And of course no matter what background you play against, all levels are the same square playing field.
But of course it's all just novelty. There is really nothing much beyond, let's say playing a level based around your favorite horse, so after completing your own levels the fun will wear thin in a hurry. Unless you like to take and share lots of photos, or put this as one of your primary apps, it's hard to see this app avoiding the 'delete from device' purgatory of so many other well-meaning yet unsatisfying apps you've purchased. Maybe if they offered more mini games with the package, then this may have been something to last.
