What's the hardest part of writing iPhone game reviews? Thinking up enough to say about some of these glorified micro games. And though the game is enjoyable enough, Electro Chuck is going to give me fits coming up with things to say.

I'll explain the concept first. Basically, you hold you phone sideways and use the gyroscope to control Chuck, a little fish with a gaping hole in his midsection. The trick is that he somehow got a long electrical wire stuck in his hole (didn't we see this on Appalachian Emergency Room?). Your job is tilt the phone to move him forward, all while avoiding both enemies and the wire that runs through him. The experience comes off as a mix between the board game Operation and any one of the iPhone endless running/jumping games.

So is it fun? Yeah, but only for a minute or two at a time. Electro Chuck is the very epitome of "next in line at the bank" games; you pick it up, play and stop - all with five minutes or so. And its price is low enough to make giving it a try easy. If you are tired of all those Angry Birds or Tiny Wings, you might find some fun with 'ol Electro Chuck.
