If you've played the hit mobile game Cut the Rope then there is nothing else you need to know, this is essentially the same game. This puzzler has you playing a spider who is after a trapped fly, and you get there using lines of web, often needing to cut the webs in order to fall to the fly below. One unique aspect unlike Cut the Rope is that you can shoot more than one web, and from anywhere. This creates more solutions than the one most correctest way as is usual for puzzlers ' you can have a three star performance where you take a long time slinging webs back and forth. That is the scoring system, collecting stars and getting the fly as quickly as possible. Getting stars also unlocks more puzzle rooms. And as you progress more complexities are introduced, such as bubbles and electric lines.
The biggest problem with this game, even in spite of being a complete clone of Cut the Rope, is that there isn't a lot of challenge. You would have to make the difficulty up on your own by challenging yourself to get a higher score, but you can still get the stars and the flies rather easily.
All in all a more than solid game - it would have to be after mimicking a smash hit game - so unless you've never played Cut the Rope, or you are a rabid CtR fan in dire need of more action, there isn't anything particularly ground-breaking in Cut the Web.
