Comedy Central presents eight more comedians for your entertainment...

The Best of Comedy Central Presents II is a collection of appearances by
eight comic on the Comedy Central Presents stand-up comedy show. Each is
filmed at a live comedy show, and it's nice to see the audience react to the
jokes and the comedians play off of the crowd. Each of the eight episodes
is about 20 minutes in length, and if you're a long time fan of the show some
may seem fairly familiar to you as they are drawn from episodes of the show as
much as ten years old. The comedian appearing on the DVD are Dave Attell,
Mike Birbiglia, Frank Caliendo, Zack Galifianakis, Stephen Lynch, Patton Oswalt,
Nick Swardson, and Daniel Tosh. There's a wide range of comedic styles on
display here, and as a result you'll probably like some comedians a lot better
than others. I wasn't a big fan of Patton Oswalt, probably because drug
humor doesn't really appeal to me. On the other hand, Frank Caliendo's
impressions - particularly of Chris Farley as Batman - were hilarious, as was
the decidedly oddball style and delivery of Zach Galifianakis. You might
not enjoy the entire DVD, but odds are you'll find something you like here and
discover a new comedian for yourself ... even if his jokes may turn out to be
ten years old.
