Players take on the role of a Spanish conquistador and must prove their skills both on and off the battlefield. It begins with the selection of followers you want to have with you on your campaign. In addition, a dialog system ensures that some conflicts with the natives do not lead immediately to a new wave of violence.

Only once all diplomatic efforts fail do the idyllic settings transform into bloody battlefields featuring a turn-based combat system. Every decision has irreversible consequences; after all, every soldier has his own heart with which to feel and his own head with which to think. Therefore, tactical mistakes can have devastating consequences on the morale of the troops. Decisions and their consequences are the central theme of Expeditions: Conquistador. Whether an eloquent diplomat or a brutal conqueror - the player alone decides how they will go down in the history books.

The first trailer, gameplay videos, and graphics are available at www.kickstarter.com/projects/2128128298/expeditions-conquistador

Once the basic target of 70,000 dollars is reached, the game will include the following:

· 3 abilities per character class, 2 special officer abilities, 5 player abilities
· 16 unique items
· Male and female character models

If pledges allow, starting at 100,000 dollars, talent trees and additional character models will be available. Starting at 160,000 dollars, players can expect the following enhancements:
· A third full campaign set in the Inca Empire
· 50 extra random events
