Game Director on 'Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures', Craig Morrison, published his monthly letter to the community today. In the letter, Morrison reveals the very first details on the contents of Update 6 for 'Age of Conan' - the next big update for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game. With Update 5 having launched about a month ago, the developers are now hard at work bringing the next free update to the game a reality.

Update 6 will introduce a wealth of all-new gameplay features geared towards guilds. Guilds will be able to acquire renown points through the actions of their members - for instance through crafting or questing - and also through waging war on rivaling guilds. Guilds will be ranked according to their renown level, and rank ladders will be available in the game for all to see. These new guild mechanics will enhance the game's siege warfare and guild gameplay considerably.

Update 6 will also introduce a new dungeon, the House of Crom, more raid encounters, as well as numerous new additions such as new PvP objectives. We will reveal more details on Update 6 later, but for now it should be sufficient to say that players definitely are in for a treat!

There is currently no set date for the launch of Update 6.
