THE KING OF FIGHTERS XII tournament will take place on Saturday, May 30th, from 12pm-7pm at Element, located at 1642 Las Palmas Ave, Hollywood, CA 90028.

A total of 128 players will compete in a single-elimination, five-round tournament, and entrants will have the opportunity to hone their KOF XII skills during an open morning training session from 10am-12pm. Food and beverages will be provided. Plus, expect appearances by special guests and the opportunity to win one-of-a-kind KOF goods. Entry into the tournament will be free and all ages are welcome; however, you must register in advance in order to claim one of the 128 available slots. Sign-ups will be available online at evo2k.com/koftournament on a first-come, first-served basis beginning on April 6th, 2009 at 10AM PST.

Competition slots are expected to be snatched up quickly, but that doesn't mean you'll be left out-keep an eye on Ignition Entertainment's website for a chance to attend the event as a spectator.
