Previously released on CD, the 15 track digital download album features the stylish original music score composed by British Academy award-winner Jesper Kyd whose powerful blend of epic orchestral, choral and modern electronic compositions beautifully enhances the cool, dark cinematic flair of the Hitman series (www.hitman.com).

“Jesper Kyd’s unique and emotionally intense scores for Hitman are synonymous with the main character Agent 47 and revered by fans as an essential signature of the blockbuster action/stealth video game series,” said Andy Uterano, President of Sumthing Else Music Works. “Due to popular worldwide demand, we’re now making the Hitman: Blood Money soundtrack available for digital download on iTunes as well as Sumthing Digital, alongside his BAFTA award-winning soundtrack for Hitman: Contracts.”

The Hitman: Blood Money music soundtrack received numerous accolades including the Best Original Score Award from IGN.com who described the music as “A rousing combo of organic orchestration and electronic manipulation” while MP3.com acclaimed, “What's lent the Hitman series its distinct identity over the years is the memorable scoring of composer Jesper Kyd, who returned in top form for the original soundtrack to the latest in the series.” Kyd’s critically acclaimed score was also nominated for Best Original Video Game Score at the MTV Video Music Awards and GAMES™ Magazine recently rated the music of Hitman among the top 5 video game scores of all time.

Fan favorites from the Hitman: Blood Money OST include the foreboding operatics of “Apocalypse,” the surreal soundscapes capturing “Night Time in New Orleans,” the retro lounge club vibe of “Vegas,” and the ethereal choral passages of “Funeral.”
