WHO:
Sony Computer Entertainment America and students at the following universities: University of California Los Angeles, University of Arizona, University of Texas at Austin, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Indiana, University of Maryland and Penn State.

WHAT:
Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. will host the first annual PlayStation NBA 08 College Challenge on seven of the biggest basketball campus across America. Eight fraternities on seven campuses (56 total fraternities) will participate in the challenge. Beginning Tuesday, October 16, all participants will begin a campus round-robin tournament to find the best NBA 08 baller from each of the participating campuses. Each of the winners will receive a PLAYSTATION 3 console and video game library.

On Tuesday, October 23, 2007 the top seven ballers take their NBA 08 skills online in a national tournament designed to crown the first-ever NBA 08 champion. The winner of the PlayStation NBA 08 College Competition will win a trip for two to the 2008 NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans.
